You can do this by not only writing some bits of complicated code. This software also allows you to create apps by dragging and dropping certain pre-designed modules. Stuff like tabs and information display windows and calculators and stuff. If you want to design a simple app, say for your personal calendar that blends in your finance details, you can, once you get the hang of things. Moreover, Microsoft plans to make this stuff more extensible, so expect support for more powerful features in the future. All this, and you can manage things without a line of code.
