Telecom Department of India developed a device which is helpful for assuring women safety. It will be available at market soon with comparatively low price which may be less than Rs 500/- (approx 10$) . The main feature of the device is GPS. We can use it as watch.

                      Today we can see a lot of cases of attack against women in the newspapers. This device will be very useful for Police to stop this type of crimes. CDAC ( Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) developed the new device. Women in danger can click a button on it. Then the device will sent SMS to control room and a mobile No which is already stored in it. By GPS Police can find the exact place of the user.

                     The device will be tested with the help of police by several times and wipe out the demerits of the device. The facility will also available at mobile phones soon.
